Hunting for a New Handbag
I have been on the lookout for a new purse for a year now. I think I've found one (or two) that I can't live without. I need something big enough for all my stuff, including a diaper or two (just in case I have an accident!!) For some reason I HATE spending money on a new purse. I don't know why...but I'm feeling it's time. My current purse is too small, the zipper sticks about 1/2 way, and the leather isn't in very good condition. Plus it's black and I'm a brown kind of gal now. So here they are...the purse(s) I can't live without. What do you think?

Being Sick is for the Birds!

This is not intended to be a pity party for me...but do you ever wonder how a stupid little cough can make you feel so bad? This stupid little cough/fever has landed me in bed for the past 4 days.
Things that I've learned while being sick:
*My bed is not as comfy as I once thought it was!
*Sprite tastes good at first, but after drinking a 2 liter by myself in less than a day...YUCK!
*I get weirdo cravings while I'm sick...usually it's for something icky like a hot dog...but this go round was for Tostitos and Con Queso Dip. Mmmm...just what you want to eat when you feel that bad. So you are probably wondering if I actually ate that...yep! Brandon picked some up at the store...along with my Tylenol and Mucinex. It was delicious.
*Being sick is a good weight loss plan!
*No matter how bad your ribs hurt...you still have to cough.
*Daytime television isn't what it's cracked up to be...althought I did almost ordered a steam mop off one of the infomercials today!
*The fine cocktail of Tylenol and Mucinex is pretty impressive.
And Finally...
*Next year I'm getting the flu shot!

101 Things to Do Before I Die (Part 2)
Brandon and I went to see the Bucket List on Saturday night. It reminded me a lot of my 101 Things to Do Before I Die list. So here are a couple more things I must do before I die...
#21 Go to Italy...eat pasta until I'm a stuffed pig...watch the sun set in Tuscany...take a gondola ride in Venice...ahhh, wishing I was there now!
#98 Get my Doctorate's degree. Okay, I really HATE school, but I think this would make me feel quite distinguished! (Are you about cracking up, Becky?)

Silly Dog

A must read! You gotta love Marley...this poor dog can't help being the world's worst dog. This book will make you laugh out loud and shed a few tears.
I've been a little dry in the book department the past few months. I've searched high and low for a good book, and here it is. I don't normally read nonfiction books, but hats off to this one...very well written.
